Being a Writer's About Finding the Line Between Literature and All Else, Then Crossing It.

Updated: Sep 13, 2021

“Learning to write is like learning to have sex. At first you flirt with the idea, then you fiddle around. And eventually, if you do it right, you won’t be the only one left when the climax comes.”

I traveled the world for fifteen years with a pen in my hand. No, I didn't write travel books the whole time. I used everything I saw and tasted and smelled, everything I experienced and wondered and thought, to write the mid-cult fiction you find before you today.

Don't be fooled. The stuff I write looks like genre fiction, but it is all just my way of putting a shiny cover over the real world. And let me tell you, even the most weird, wacky, and screwed up things that can happen out there can make some pretty great stories to hear.

That's why it's important for you to know I'm writing from my experiences, not someone else's.
